Learn how to quickly measure small properties by yourself!

Let’s learn how you can measure a small property yourself on Beam AI.

Here's how it works :

1. Enter the property address: Start by inputting the address of the property you wish to measure.
2. Select manual measurement: Choose the manual measurement option where you select the takeoff report.
3. Confirm lot boundary: You can choose to edit the lot boundary from the toolbar above or continue with the predefined lot boundary and, review takeoff & hit proceed.
4. Create features: Click on "Edit Takeoff," and then you can create surface, edge, or point features on the left. Create and name the features you need (e.g., asphalt, concrete, backyard, lawn, hedge).
5. Draw your features: Select each feature from your list and draw them on the map.

Why use manual measurements?

1. Flexibility: Ideal for small-scale properties that you want to be measured quickly.
2. Customization: Create and save custom features to use across different properties.
